I have started and stopped at least 25 open letters since my last post. At this point, I’m giving it up and calling it a day until after November 4, 2008. After that I am hoping to get back to business as usual–letters regarding perverts, dog poop, shitty co-workers and life’s otherwise minor annoyances.

I just can’t do it lately. I’m legitimately too angry to be funny about most political things. I’m also too focused on the damn polls and stump speeches to notice the mundane other things I usually write about. I need to calm the fuck down before I give myself an aneurysm.
T-Minus 12 days until 1/2 the country demands a recount & 89 days until the end of an error!

i think the drought in my brain/blog might also be due to all the election craziness. It’s just overwhelming… You and I can have a vigil on Tuesday the 4th. Take 1/2 the day off and we’ll spend the other half in a dive downtown bar getting plastered. It’ll be fun. I swear!

I actually kind of feel like I need a healthy amount of alcohol each day until the Election. And the amount needed gets larger and larger in incremental amounts.
I guess that it’s due to my fragile, liberal nerves.
